Force Restart Your iPad

When something goes wrong with technology, the first step of troubleshooting is to restart or force restart a device. In this article, we will go over how to force restart your iPhone.

The steps to force restart an iPad varies slightly depending on the model you have.

Force Restart iPad - Without Home Button

Press and quickly release the volume up button, press and quickly release the volume down button, then press and hold the top button. When the Apple logo appears, release the button.

Force Restart iPad - with Home Button

Press and hold the top button and the Home button at the same time. When the Apple logo appears, release both buttons.
