Customize and Use the TalkBack Menu and Reading Controls

The TalkBack menu allows you to manage TalkBack settings quickly anytime anywhere.



Use the TalkBack Menu

With TalkBack enabled, Swipe down, then right to open the menu.

On select devices with multi-touch compatibility, you can tap with three fingers to bring up the menu as well.

Customize the TalkBack Menu Options

You can open TalkBack Settings within the menu or follow the steps below:

  1. Open Settings
  2. Scroll down and tap Accessibility
  3. Tap TalkBack
  4. Tap Settings
  5. Tap Customize Menus
  6. Tap Customize TalkBack Menu
  7. Tap the checkbox next to an item to remove it from the list or tap an emty checkbox to addd it to the menu.


Use Reading Controls

With TalkBack enabled, Swipe up, then down or down, then up to open Reading Controls.

On select devices with multi-touch compatibility, you can swipe up or down with three fingers to bring up Reading Controls as well.

  1. Open Settings
  2. Scroll down and tap Accessibility
  3. Tap TalkBack
  4. Tap Settings
  5. Tap Customize Menus
